A "Verified" status confirms the component has been programmatically cross-referenced with authorized manufacturer datasheets, pin-out registries, active production lifecycles, and verified supplier stock.

How should an engineering team handle a "Flagged" component?

Flagged components highlight non-standard footprints, pending lifecycle replacements, or generated parameters. The platform isolates these exact line items so your team inspects only what requires human sign-off.

What happens to "Excluded" components?

Nowhere. They are not carried into the schematic, the layout or the bill of materials.
Components tagged as obsolete, out of compliance, or physically unroutable are systematically purged. They are excluded from the netlist, Gerber package, and procurement exports.
